The EcoScan app makes it easy for people to contribute to a better environment. Take a photo with the app and it tells you which bin or container the item can go in. If the item is actually too good to throw away, the app recommends a charity shop. The EcoScan app can also remember which products you scan, and let you know when a product is to be collected in a different bin from now on. The app has also just become available as an instant app, so you can use its features without installing it. According to EcoScan, this is mainly meant for producers: "So they can take their responsibility, because the advice is based on the sorting rules of the country. That makes it a good alternative to the Weggooiwijzer."
